Evelyn May Talbert El Paso- Evelyn May Talbert, 79, of El Paso, passed away at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 12, 1932 in El Paso, IL a daughter of Lawrence and Eva Norwood Sutton. She married James O. Talbert on March 6, 1950 in Bloomington. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Connie (Dale) Fletcher of El Paso, Jon (Irma) Talbert of Gridley, and Bonnie (Frank) Haas of El Paso ; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; one son, Ronnie; and two grandchildren. Evelyn was a 1949 El Paso High School graduate. Her and her husband farmed in the El Paso area until their retirement. Evelyn attended Grace Fellowship Church in El Paso. She was a member of the Young At Heart Group. Funeral services for Evelyn will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2011at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Reverends Tim Smith and Dan Giese will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso.
