Dear Edna Mae and Linda: My childrens "Baptist Church Grandpa" will be missed. Remembering Carson carving them goodies out of wood and their friends would say so cute where did you get that, and they would reply Grandpa Carson at the Baptist Church...and were shocked that their friends didn't know him. Black cats are still in their bedroom windows to this day. Geoff loved playing "peek-a-boo" over the pew at Carson, and of course climbing under the pew to pull on his pantleg or some other silly thing. Threatened several times of getting a spanking at church, and I think I even threatened Carson a time or two. Glad that you have been able to have all of these wonderful years together. May God grant you peace and hold you close in the months to come. Sorry I couldn't be there today, but am home ill. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers! Love, The Hudson's--Gary, Diana,Elizabeth and Geoffrey.

Dear Edie and family, What a good man!Nancy called today to tell us that Carson's funeral is this morning. We will all miss him. Donna and I remember seeing him and you about a year ago at Lewis and then Mom's funeral. He has been a member of the Raby family ever since I can remember. We have many fond memories from the pancake and eggs church breakfast at the park, plus his talent for silencing the hoot owls with a snap of his handkerchief way back when you lived out in the country. He was won of those rare people who could figure out how to get a complicated job done in his work. One special memory was when he sang in the church choir with Lloyd, Oscar, Jiggs, and the rest of the old gang. We send our thoughts and prayers to you with love. Jim and Donna
