My heart go's out to the family of this very special woman.She was the absolute best boss I have ever had at Montgomery Ward or anywhere.My mind can not wrap around the fact she's gone.Her spirit lives on in Rick, Megan and Jake.

I am so sorry for your loss. Carol was a high school classmate of mine. She emailed me in 2009 and told me that she couldn't make it to our class reunion that year but was looking forward to seeing all of us in 2014. She will be missed!

What a special gift God has received in Carol. She was an awesome person and the best friend you could ever ask for. I met her the first day she started at St. John's School (Prairie du Chien) in elementary school and we were friends ever since. I know how very much she loved Rick and how much he loved her. Carol was a client of mine for a least 17 years. When you see someone every 5 weeks for 17 years you become close to them. She was a kind soul,and had the most loving heart. She would listen to my stories of life and laugh and cry with me. She was always eager to help me or give me some Motherly advice. I will miss her love and support. She so loved her family and the fun, and memories they had together.She was so proud of Megan and Jake and the lifes they have made.But like the Mother, she worried. My memories of Carol's smile and laughter will always be special and with me. As a childhood friend, I spent many hours at the Weber house in PdC.....(what's one more kid at the dinner table?! as well as the family dog named Pepper.) My thoughts and prayers are with you at this saddest time. Carol was such a great person. I went to high school and college with her. I'll never forget us waiting until senior year at Platteville to take Speech.... we needed it to graduate,but dreaded it. She was always my eyes on person when I had to give my presentation and got me through it. She is also the one that suggested I interview with Montgomery Ward,which I ended up working at for 18 years. She will always be remembered!

I have such wonderful memories of Carol during my summers in PdC, from swatting flies for her at the DQ to rewashing the dinner dishes until they were spotless.
