What a great Man and Eureka Icon who touched many generations of EC and EHS alums and the Eureka community as a whole. I don't think I have ever met a more generous and caring person. We are all blessed to have known him, and to know him was to love him. God bless you all in this time of such great loss. Our loss is heaven's gain, and we will see him again someday.

Lola&Family-A true friend has left a gap in my life and all of those who Russ made contact with. The Lord must be building a new road and only wanted the very best help. Russ-make sure the road is completed for the rest of us will soon be traveling to join you. Will miss you more than I can express.

So sorry to read of Russ's passing. I first got to know him when my Dad ( Curt Hodel) and him played Church softball. Heaven has a new rose in its garden today. May God wrap you in his loving arms and give you comfort during this time.
