Andrea A. Dalrymple, 54, of rural Lacon, formerly Sparland died on January 31, 2016 at Richard L. Owens Hospice House in Peoria.
Born in Peoria to the late William and Grace Pringle Bryden on December 22, 1961, she married Charles "Mike" Dalrymple at the LaPrairie United Presbyterian Church on October 23, 1982.
Andrea had many jobs over the years. She worked at the Sparland Post Office and was an active member of the mother's club while her kids were in school. She worked at Thermetic Glass Company in Toluca until it closed down and then cleaned houses. She also worked in the cafeteria at the Midland Middle School then later became a custodian there.
Andrea had a degree in interior design; she was naturally very artistic, creative, and loved to make crafts and paint. She loved to go camping and boating with her family and friends. One of her greatest joys in life was her husband, three kids, and her grandchild, Lynz.
Surviving are her husband Mike, son William (Jordan Kuhlman) Dalrymple of Lacon; daughters Bethany (Zac Ware) Dalrymple of Lacon & Anna Dalrymple of Kansas; sister Amy (Tony) Swanson of Sparland; one grandchild Lynz Dalrymple; mother in law Peg Dalrymple of Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Private family services and burial of ashes in the LaPrairie United Presbyterian Cemetery will be at a later date.
