Ann Leman


Eureka- Ann Leman, 96, of 610 W. Cruger Avenue Eureka,
formerly of Rural Route 1 Eureka,  passed away at 12:20a.m. on
Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Apostolic Christian Home of
Eureka.


Ann was born on July 29, 1917 in Cissna Park, IL a
daughter of John and Louisa Gudeman Feller.  She married David
V. Leman on January 27, 1946 in Cissna Park, IL. He passed away on
April 23, 1990. Later she married Sidney Leman on June 20, 2001 in
Eureka, IL. He passed away on May 15, 2008.


Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Lockwood of
Peoria; Joyce (Wes) Hohulin of Goodfield; step-children, Dale(Mary)
Leman of Bloomington; Jerry(Kathy) Leman of Secor; Marge(Bob)
Rumbold of Peoria; Susan(John) Stella of Gridley; two sisters,
Wilma Baier of Paxton; Arlene(Jim) Wieland of Sunrise, FL; three
grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren and 35
step great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, four
brothers and three sisters.


Ann worked at A.O. Smith Harvestore in Eureka.


Ann was an active volunteer all her life.  She
volunteered at the Metamora grade school and high school,  Et
Cetera Shop in Eureka, Eureka Hospital and at the Eureka Apostolic
Christian Home; and was a Girl Scout leader.


Ann repented at the age of 15 and faithfully served
her Lord for 81 years. She was active and taught Sunday School and
Vacation Bible School.


Ann was a member of Eureka Apostolic Christian
Church where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1,
2013 at 10:00a.m. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will
be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 4-7p.m. at
Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and also from
9-9:45a.m. on Thursday before the funeral at the church. Burial
will be in the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
