El Paso- Anthony "Tony" Hinthorne, 40, of Topeka, KS formerly of
El Paso, IL passed away at 4:51 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in
Shawnee County, KS.
He was born on January 15, 1973 in Normal, IL a son of Jeff and
Diane Fever Hinthorne. He was previously married to Tiffany
McGuire.
Surviving is his daughter, Devyn Kay Hinthorne of El Paso, IL; his
parents, Jeff and Diane Hinthorne of El Paso, IL; paternal
grandmother, Viola Hinthorne of El Paso, IL; maternal grandmother,
Gerry Fever of El Paso, IL; two sisters, Annetta (Steve) Blair of
Bloomington, IL; Maria Hinthorne of Morton, IL; two brothers,
Matthew (Summer) Hinthorne of El Paso, IL; Andrew Hinthorne
(Melissa Isenburg) of Normal, IL; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth,
Grace, Sam, and Annie Blair; Isabella, Sophie, Luke, and
Roman Hinthorne and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Laurence
"Bud" Hinthorne, maternal grandfather, Robert Fever, and uncle
Richard Knepp.
Tony was currently working as an agent for Federated Insurance in
Topeka, KS. His true passion was being outdoors while working
in the landscaping business. He had previously owned and
operated Field of Dreams Landscaping in Hilton Head,
SC.
He was a devoted father who truly adored his daughter and
cherished his time spent with her.
Family was important to Tony. One of his greatest pleasures in
life was time spent with his brothers just hanging out. He
will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 29,
2013 at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso, IL. Pastor
John Treischmann will officiate. Visitation will be held
Thursday evening from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund
established for his daughter Devyn in care of Heartland Bank.
