B. Herridge

B. Ronald Herridge, 92, of Wyoming died on August 4, 2015 at Toulon Healthcare in Toulon. Born June 22, 1923 in Peoria to the late James and Edna Calder Herridge, he married Audrey Wood on March 29, 1946 at the United Presbyterian Church in La Prairie. Audrey died on May 30, 2011.

Ron is survived by: his sons Fred (Madeline) Herridge of Gordonville, TX; Ron (Sue) Herridge of Toulon; daughters Beverly (Dean) Creason of Laura; Sandra (George) Naseef of Fort Worth, TX; Charlene (Pablo) Ybarra of Fort Worth, TX; brother Charles (Jackie) Herridge of Yates City; sister Marion Wright of California; 11 grandchildren; and 9 nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister June Wright.

Ron was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy as a Gunners Mate 2nd Class on the LSM 232 in the Pacific. As a member of the Wyoming American Legion, he served as Post and County Commander, and in the Color Guard. He worked at CILCO for 37 years, retiring in 1983 and was a member of the Wyoming Congregational Church.

Graveside services will be held at La Prairie Cemetery on Monday, August 10 at 10:00 am. Memorials can be made to his American Legion Post or his Church. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
