Chenoa - Christine E. Folkers, 89 of rural Chenoa passed
away at 4:02

a.m. on December 7, 2013 at her residence, surrounded by her
family. She
was born June 10, 1924 in Pontiac a daughter of Adolph and Mayme
Brinkman

Ryerson. She married Kenneth Folkers on September 1, 1946 in
rural

Pontiac. He died October 2, 2009.



Survivors include her 4 daughters;  Constance (Charles)
Webber, Oak

Brook, Cynthia Baumgardner, Minonk, Eloise (Ralph) Foote, and
Carolyn

(Peter) Roth both of Bloomington; 13 grandchildren: Kevin
(Aimee)

Webber, Stephanie (Steve) Heerdt, Margaret Anderson, Katherine
Zimmer,

Christine (Thomas) Johnson, Jill (Timothy) Bark, Daniel Foote,
Timothy

(Ashlie) Foote, Anna Roth, Amanda (Jonathan) Zietlow, Lucille
(Micah)

Loucks, Michael and Jacob Roth; 11 great grandchildren: Liliana
and

Isabella Webber, Ethan Heerdt, Elliot Anderson, Abigail, Wesley
and

Emmaline Johnson, Willow Bark, Ashley Roth, Syler Zietlow and
Lawrence

Loucks.


She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters and 3
brothers.


Christine was a member of Salem Church, Gridley, Gideons
Auxillary,

Meadows Mennonite Home Board of Directors, and Light and Life Home
Bible

Studies for prisoners.


Funeral services will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
at

Salem Church, Gridley. Rev. Stuart Rex will officiate. Visitation
will be

on Friday from 4 to 8 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso
and

for one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Burial
will be

in Waldo Twp. Cemetery.
