Daniel Staley

Daniel Rain Staley, 3 ½ months, of Varna died on June 2, 2015 at 12:15 am at his home. He was born on February 20, 2015 to Jacob and Randi Marshall Staley in Peoria IL.

Surviving are his parents; grandparents Ron and Janet Marshall of Varna, Robin (Joe) Garro of Gillette, WY; Elmer Staley of Belle Fourche, SD; Great Grandmother Betty Marshall of McNabb; aunts Sarah Marshall of Varna; Stefanie (Josh) Jeffery of Spearfish, SD; uncle Joseph Staley of Gillette, WY; Great Aunts Sharon (Dale) Burkheart of Belle Fourche, SD; Cyndy (Gail) Carr of Hennepin; and many other family members. He was preceded by 3 great grandparents and one great uncle.

Daniel was (is) an amazing little boy, bringing much joy, happiness, love, and hope to many people, and in his time of peace brings much sorrow, heart ache, and yet happiness. For he showed all what is truly precious and dear. Every squeak (laugh), smile, and gentle look melted each heart and every soul was put at ease. In his time he broke barriers that seemed impenetrable allowing enemies to be friends and broken family's whole. Even in his anguish and sickness he brought no end to the love, happiness, joy, hope, and peacefulness he kept sharing with all. In our hearts and all those he was around will always remember this precious little boy.

A memorial service will be held on June 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Varna Methodist Church in Varna with a private family burial at a later date. Memorial gifts can be made to the family. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com.
