SPARLAND-Donna J Endress, 85, of Sparland, died on July 30, 2015 at 6:55 pm at Heartland Healthcare Center in Henry.
She was born in Peoria on June 16, 1930 to the late Clarence and Helen Updyke Vest.
She married David R. Endress in Peoria on December 11, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2014.
She is survived by a son Steve (Susie) Endress of Kankakee; daughter Sue (Ray) Allen of Speer; grandchildren, Brad ( Angie) Endress of Pensacola, FL, Nikki (Pete) Lotus of New Lenox, IL, Joni (Dan) Brooks of Chillicothe, IL, Michael (Jen) Allen of Lake in the Hills, IL; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Jackson, Easton, Emma, Mickey, Demi, Peter, Brayden, Jordyn and Carter.
Donna graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria in 1947. She was a member of LaPrairie United Presbyterian Church where she was very active and helped the LaPrairie UPW group with many fund raisers, meals, and farm sales. Donna also helped at the Marshall-Putnam Fair for many years in the office and at the grandstand. Donna and David were huge supporters of the local school programs and local youth but her biggest love was her family.
Funeral services will be held at LaPrairie United Presbyterian Church, rural Sparland, at 11 am on Tuesday August 4, 2015. Pastor Melinda Stephenson will officiate. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services from 10 am- 11 am at the church and burial will be in Marshall County Lawn Ridge Cemetery.
