Gary W. Ehringer, 65, of Lacon died at his residence on May 20, 2015 at 4:00 am. Born on June 15, 1949 in Bremerton, WA to the late Joseph W. and Katherine VanDeVeer Ehringer, Gary married Mary Lou Blundell on April 11, 1991 in Lacon. Mary Lou passed on January 19, 2015.
Gary was employed by Caterpillar for 8 years, then working and later managing the Lacon Country Club for over 10 years. Later, Gary did lawn care and tree service for Liqui Green and Tree Preservers. He was also a founding member of the Patio Club.
He is survived by his daughter Missy (Ben) Light of Bartonville, Michael W. Ehringer of Peoria, step children William (Dawn) Blundell of Metamora, Julie (Mike Silver) Kupferschmid of Peoria, brother Errol (Kathy) McGee of Rome, and 10 grandchildren. He was also preceded by 2 brothers.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10am on May 23 at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon with Reverend Ross Wyman officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be in the Lacon Cemetery.
