Gertrude Rossman

Minonk- Gertrude Rossman, 95 of Minonk passed away at 6:45p.m.
Saturday
January 26, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.

Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30,
2013 at
St. Patrick Catholic Church, Minonk. Father Lloyd Cunningham
will
officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Church
Cemetery,
Minonk. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services
at the
church on Wednesday.

Gertrude was born January 4, 1918 at Dana a daughter of Peter
and Anna
Haugens Lutz. She married Wilbert Rossman on February 7, 1941
in
Davenport,IA.

Survivors include her loving husband of 72 years, Wilbert of
Minonk;
three sons, Clyde "Corky" (Carol) Rossman, Roanoke, Thomas "Dr.
Cue"
(Marty) Rossman, Cloverdale,IN and Donald (Pat) Rossman,
Washington,
four grandchildren, Chad, Chris and Scott Rossman and Vanessa
Thomas;
and seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Also
surviving is her beloved Siamese cat, Tippy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold
Lutz.
Gertrude was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk.
She
enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, flower gardening, NASCAR races, western
music,
and TV game shows.

She was loved by all and will be missed by her family and
friends. She
always was friendly and had a smile on her face.
