A Graveside service will be held at
11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Oak Grove Cemetery in LeRoy
with Pastor Niel Magsombol officiating. Visitation will be held at
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial home on Wednesday, June 12, 2013
from 5-7 p.m.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in LeRoy, Illinois. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois CancerCare
in Gola's name. The family of Gola has entrusted
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with the care of
their loved one.
Normal-Gola Marie Woith, 75, of Normal passed way at her residence
at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013.
Gola was born on June 13, 1937 in Towanda, a daughter of JW
"Bill" and Ada "More Mom" Perkins Hill. She married
Earl "Gus" F. Woith, he preceded her in death on April 6, 1991.
Survivors include, a son, Kim W. (Carole) Lawrence, Perth,
Australia; a daughter, Kellie Ann (Lyle) Ridgeway,
Bloomington; son, Keith Earl (Kathy) Woith, San Diego, CA;
grandchildren,
Sophie, Chad, Christopher (Christina), Kelli Jo, and Zachary; a
brother, Robert (Bonnie) Hill, Saybrook; a sister, Maverine Short,
Bloomington, two great grandchildren, Keira and Harry.
In addition to her husband Earl, Gola was preceded in death by
her parents, a daughter, Karla Sue, and a son, Ken Ray.
She was a #1 fan of the "Twin City Dawgs", she was called,
"Grandma Dawg". She was an avid fisherman, loved riding
motorcycles, snowmobiling and gardening. She never met a
stranger, she was loved by many. She gave a lot of herself to
the many people in her life. Gola loved to bake cookies for
people, she always added a special touch to everything she
did. She touched many lives through her generosity.
The family of Gola would like to extend a special thanks to the
