Holly A. Anderson


Peoria-Holly A. Anderson, 54, of Peoria, IL passed away at
12:03 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical
Center in Peoria, IL.


She was born on December 24, 1958 in Peoria, IL a
daughter of Dolly Adline (Lewis) and Ray Baxter Sams.


Surviving are two sons, David (Claudia) Anderson of
Manhattan, KS; Chad Anderson of Sand Diego, CA; two grandsons,
Carlos and Gerardo; her mother, Dolly Veach of Peoria, IL; four
sisters, Vickie (Bill) Ball of MS; Joyce Sams of Eureka; Pat Schumm
of Peoria; Sherry Marshall of Eureka; one brother, John (Lori) Sams
of Eureka; and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her father,
Ray.


Holly worked for 10 years as a CNA.  She loved
flower gardening, plants, and canning from her garden.  She
had a love for the ocean and looking for shells on the beach. Holly
also enjoyed vacations,  fishing, canoeing, thunderstorms and
hanging out with family and friends.


A visitation will be held from 10-1 pm on Saturday,
June 29, 2013 at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in
Eureka.  There will be no services.  Cremation rites will
be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
