Congerville - Homer E. Reeder, 66, of Congerville, IL passed away
at 3:11 am
on Friday December 20, 2013 in Minonk.


He was born on June 25, 1947 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Everett J. and
JoAnna
Shedd Reeder. He married Joyce Fischer. She precedes him in
death.


Surviving is one daughter, Heather (Matt) Riedinger of Washington,
IL; two
sisters, Elsie Fetters of California; Teresa (Gary) Tulle of
Bloomington, IL;
three brothers, Kevin Reeder of Eureka; Mark Reeder of Las Vegas,
NV; and Guy
(Holly) Reeder of Minonk.


He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Gilda
Sullivan.


An Army veteran, Homer served his country in the Vietnam war.


Homer worked at Caterpillar for many years before he retired.


Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be
no
services. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke is
assisting the family
with arrangements.
