Jack Loser

October 21, 1944 — January 20, 2021

Jack C. Loser, 76, of Washburn, formerly Lacon, Mountain Grove and Maywood Mo., died on January 20, 2021 at UnityPoint Methodist in Peoria. Born in Peoria to the late Charles and Bertha Cheney Loser he married Susan Rediger on October 6, 1963 in Washburn.
Jack was mostly a carpenter for a living, working for Noah Herman & Son and eventually retiring from Hein Construction. A true "Jack" of all trades, he was willing to help all, could fix anything, drove a semi-truck, did a little farming and definitely always had a pasture with horses. Over the years he has been a member of the Carpenters Union, a Teamster, and an elder in Norwood Baptist church in Norwood, Mo.
Jack is survived by his wife Susan of Washburn; son Jeff of Wentzville Mo; daughter Sonya (Todd) Taylor of Washburn; brother Ron (June) Loser of Dunlap; sister Diane (Kenny) Reeder of Dunlap; grandchildren Sara Loser of St. Louis, Stephen (Sylvia) Loser of Beaverton Oregon, Jereme Loser serving in the Marines, Maria (Bo) Sleeter of Lexington Ill, Blake (Randi) Taylor of East Peoria, Connor (Karli) Taylor serving in the Air Force; and seven great grandchildren. Jack was preceded by his brother Virgil, sisters Sherry Reeder and Cathy Fitch, and granddaughter Sydney Taylor.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held on January 30, 2021 at 1 PM at Calvary Bible Church, north of Lacon. Memorials can be made to Calvary Bible Church and online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
