Jan Vogt

Jan Vogt, 83, of Hopewell Illinois, died on February 1, 2022 at OSF Saint Francis in Peoria.  Born on October 15, 1938 in Amberley, New Zealand to the late Cyril and Edna Agnew Mowat. She married Donald Vogt on January 31, 1959 in Dunedin New Zealand. He survives.

Jan is also survived by her son David Vogt of Hopewell, Chris Vogt of Lacon, Ian Vogt of Perth Australia; granddaughter Heather Vogt of Plainfield, Ashley (Ramzi) Abdulhadi of Worth, Alyssa (David) Vogt of DeKalb, TJ, Colton, and Logan Vogt all of Lacon; five great grandchildren and her wonderful friend Mary Myers. Jan was also preceded in death by her son Michael and grandson Ian.

Cremation rites have been accorded and Jan will return to New Zealand at a later date. Memorials can be given to the donor’s choice and online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com.
