Joyce J. Moreland

Lacon- Joyce J. Moreland, 84, of Lacon, IL passed away at 12:40
pm on Monday, December 9, 2013 at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in
Peoria, IL.


She was born on October 11, 1929 in Hammond, IN to Irene Lantare.
She married James Moreland on April 8, 1979 in McNabb, IL.  He
survives.


Also surviving are one son, Dan Alonso of Magnolia, IL; one
daughter, Kathie (Jeno) Varadi of Princeton, IL; one step-son,
James Moreland of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Michele Alonso of
Lake Wildwood in Varna, IL; two sisters, Karen (Ed) Kostecka of
Cornell, IL; Debra (Ken) Young of St. Charles, IL; ten
grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two
step-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Edward R.
Alonso.


Memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation
rites will be accorded.  Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon is
assisting the family with their arrangements.  Online
