WINTER HAVEN, FL- Joyce Eileen Stotts, 85, of Winter
Haven, FL, formerly of El Paso, died at 3:50 PM on Monday January
27, 2014 at the Winter Haven Life Care Center in Winter Haven,
FL.
She was born in Alliance, OH on April 3, 1928, a
daughter of Harry Sr. and Mae Johnson Bowker. She married Donald L.
Stotts in Alliance, OH on August 8, 1948 and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Vickie (Bill)
Evans, Franklin, TN, Barbara Mool (Rodney Unzicker), El Paso, Larry
(Karen) Stotts, Minonk; grandchildren, Brian (Lindsay) Stotts,
Bloomington, Craig ( Karen Coppebarger), Nashville, TN, Nicholas (
Erin) Mool, Stephanie (Derek) Moore, both of El Paso, Jason (Jaime)
Mool, Clarksville, TN, William Jr. (Dawn) Evans, Erin (Chris)
Martin, both of Nashville, TN, Ashley (Trevor) Byrne, San
Francisco, CA; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Keith
Mool.
Joyce and Don were married for 65 years and lived
all over the Midwest. Her best times were spent with Don. They
enjoyed worshiping with their church families. They also enjoyed
spending time with friends, playing cards, square dancing, and
being active in their children and grandchildren's lives. She was
active in their retirement community, serving as Chairman of the
Social Committee. Her memberships included; Parkland Baptist
Church in Winter Haven, FL and formerly United Church of Gridley.
She was also a member of Thompson Chapter OES Lodge #147 of the
Eastern Star, El Paso; serving as Worthy Matron several times. She
was very creative and always enjoyed making Christmas tree skirts
for all of her children and grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be on Saturday February 8,
2014 at 11 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Minonk with Rev. Ray
Barclay officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Friday
February 7, 2014 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso where
an Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at 6PM. Cremation
has been accorded and burial of cremains will be at a later
date.
