Bloomington- Kara Elizabeth
Hartrich, 4, of Bloomington died at 5:50pm on Friday, January 17,
2014 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
January 21, 2014 with Fr. Ric Schneider, O.F.M. officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the
church. Kibler- Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is in
charge of arrangements.

Interment will be in Holy Cross
Cemetery in Normal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to her sister's education fund in care of the First
Robinson Savings Bank, N.A. 501 East Main Street, Robinson, IL
62454.

Kara was born January 17, 2010 in
Normal, the daughter of Chris and Roxanne Miller Hartrich.
Survivors include her brother, Tyler Patrick Jenkins, of
Bloomington; and her sister Kaylee Michelle Hartrich, of
Bloomington. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents,
Michael and Eleanor Miller, of Bloomington and her paternal
grandmother Eileen Hartrich of Robinson, Illinois.

She is also survived by her aunts
and uncles, Lisa (Hartrich) Clay of Christopher, IL Michelle
Hartrich-Jackson of Bloomington; Brett and Louis Hartrich of
Bloomington, Bruce Hartrich of Greenwood, IN Lori Hartrich of
Columbus, OH, Matthew Hartrich of Robinson, IL Justin Hartrich of
Aurora, IL Chris Miller of Grandville, IL, and Rob Lantz of
Tampico, IL and 27 cousins.

She was preceded in death by her
paternal grandfather Paul Keith Hartrich; her paternal
great-grandparents, Paul (Clara) Hartrich and Louis (Ethel)
Hardiek; her maternal great-grandparents, Dorothy Miller and Ruth
Konke.

Kara was a happy little girl who
always greeted you with a hug and a smile. She loved to dance and
sing, and she liked to dress up as a princess every day. She
brought happiness and joy to everyone around her. Her amazing sense
of humor and warm heart touched the lives of many.
