Kathleen Brown

Kathleen Brown, 71, of Lacon, died on January 4, 2019 at Unitypoint Proctor in Peoria. Born on December 21, 1947 in Peoria to the late Harold and Doris Moreland Brown, Kathy worked at Walmart East Peoria in the Deli Department since it was built over 15 years ago. She loved to needle point and was a member of the Stitcher's Guild of Peoria. Kathy also love to play Mah-Jongg in her free time.
Kathy is survived by her sister Joyce Klaasen of Lacon, brother Harold "HI" (Rhonda) Brown of Kingwood TX, neice Susan (Jake) Berta of Appleton WI, and three great nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10 at 3PM at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation rights will then be accorded and burial will be in the Lacon Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made to Lacon Sparland ambulance or the ARK Animal Recycling Kennel.
