Kathleen Schwiderski

Kathleen A. Schwiderski, 72, of Chillicothe Illinois, died on January 28, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born on November 9, 1949 in Chicago to the late Thaddeus and Anna Mae Christman Ozga. She married Leroy Schwiderski Jr. on January 3, 1969 in Sparland. He survives.

Kathleen had the biggest heart. She made everyone she met feel like family. After selling her bar, L&K’s Chili Tap, Kathleen devoted her time to caring for her great grandchildren and her dog Harley. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking new recipes with her husband Leroy.

Kathleen is also survived by her daughter Anita Rodden of Chillicothe; Sisters in-law Rose Ozga of Sparland, Marge Hankins of Lacon, Penny Schwiderski of Henry, grandchildren Joseph Schwiderski of Chillicothe, Stephen (Michelle) Stillwell of Henry, Katie (Andrew) Cochran of Chillicothe, Tabitha (Cody) Stoner of Henry, Haley (Kolton) Rodden of Chillicothe, Ashley Rodden of Chillicothe; great grandchildren JJ, Piper, Sophie, Izzy, Ayden, Grace, Noah, Chevelle, Peyton, Waylon, Rory, Zachary, and Maya. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia J. Schwiderski and her brother John S. Ozga.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 4 from 5 to 7 PM at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery at a later date.
