Kevin R. Blunier, 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at his home in Chillicothe. He was born on November 22, 1959 in Peoria to the late Clifford and Joann Haverland Blunier.
Surviving are: two sons Matthew (Brandi) Blunier of Lacon, Dustin (Michele) Blunier of Oakwood, IL; brothers Kirk (Corrine) Blunier of Chillicothe, and Kerry (Michelle) Blunier of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters Karen Pitts of Washington, IL; and Kathy (Ralph) Kimble of Chillicothe, IL; grandchildren, Jasmine, Harper, Kollin and Hadley.
Kevin worked at LW Thomas Roofing doing sheet metal for 26 years and Caterpillar for 13 years. He was a member of Sheet Metal Union Local 001 and UAW 974 at Caterpillar. He was a working man that spent many hours working overtime.
Kevin loved working outside his old house on Banta road near Low Point, planting trees, and landscaping his yard. He was a motorcycle enthusiast spending many years riding dirt bikes and going to various riding parks across the state. Kevin loved watching movies and quoting them. As a lifelong NRA member, he enjoyed shooting firearms at his country home and his bow at Wolf Hollow Archery.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 10-12 pm at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon and memorials can be made to the family. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
