Leonard Catton

Leonard "Lennie" Catton, 64, of Lacon, formerly Princeton, died on September 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on February 3, 1955 in Princeton to the late Donald and Joyce Yepsen Catton he married Joanne Baldwin on September 22, 1979 in Lacon. Lennie was a security officer at Lake Wildwood for over 15 years. He also was a supervisor of stage set up and tear down at the Peoria Civic Center for large events and a fork driver for General Mills in Montgomery IL.
Lennie is survived by: his wife Joanne; children Matt (Christina) Martin of Dixon, Joelle (Claude) McGeough of Branson MO, Brandi (Adam) Gustafson of Moline, Cheri (Josh) Titus of Cuba; sister Pam (Tim) Jones of Spring Valley; 16 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister Judy Graham and brothers Dean, Bradley, and David Funderburg.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 18 from 5 to 7 PM at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Cremation rites will then be accorded and a private family burial will be held at a later date in the Lacon Cemetery.
