Loren W. McCune

Loren Wayne McCune, 84, passed away on December 2, 2022 at 2am during his stay at the Lacon Rehab and Nursing. Born on May 31, 1938 to the late Jefferson and Margaret (Dailey) McCune, He married Denise Morris in 1981. Denise passed on 1988.

 From pig farmer to semi driver to farming to cutting wood, growing ginseng and owning a pallet company, Loren was a true midwestern farmer. His biggest achievement was raising 3 little girls into strong independent women. He was a free soul. He never feared trying something new and he loved his children. He loved his grandchildren even more. His favorite place in the world is Australia, and that story lasted for years. This was my father

 Loren left behind his children Daphne (Philip Leitner) McCune, Tonya (Dan) Severson, Stephanie (JR) McCune; Sister Sharon (Randy) Martin; brother Jesse Dean Mccune; Grandchildren Michelle, Kathrine, Serrina, Maddix, Natalya; and Great grandson Braxton.   He went to heaven and joined his wife Denise; parents Margaret and Jefferson; brothers Raymond and Clarence; sister Shirley Jean; and granddaughter jenavieve Long.

Cremation rites have been accorded and his remains will be scattered at a later date per his wishes. Memorials can be made  in his name to your favorite charity and online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
