Bloomington - M. Helen Lindquist, 91, of Bloomington, passed
away at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at OSF St. Joseph
Medical Center in Bloomington.
Helen was born on August 16, 1922 in Bloomington, a daughter of
Anna Emmons. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Agnes and Melvin
Hopt. She married Harold Lindquist on June 26, 1943. He died on
February 29, 2004.
Mass Of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
December 3, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington
with Msgr. Doug Hennessy and Rev. Deo Gratias officiating.
Visitation will precede the Mass from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bloomington.
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the
family with arrangements.
She is survived by a dear sister, Ann Hackett, of Eagle, Idaho
and many loving nieces and nephews. A brother, John Hopt preceded
her in death.
Helen was a gentile lady. She was always stylish, elegant and
graceful. She was a wonderful friend to many.
She was a graduate of Brown Business College . She was employed
first at State Farm and then for many years at Northern Illinois
Gas Company.
Helen was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington
Emblem Club and involved in the delivery of Meals on Wheels.
She loved and appreciated her great neighbors. She will be
missed by many.
