Eureka-Magdalene Dziak, 101, of Eureka, IL formerly
of Goodfield, IL passed away at  2:50a.m. on Thursday,
February 27, 2014 at Maple Lawn Health Center in Eureka.

She was born on March 12, 1912 in Hatley, Wisconsin a daughter
of John and Lucia Szelbracik Rutkowski. She married Joseph Dziak on
January 31, 1928 in Bevent, Wisconsin. He passed away on June 25,
1984.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley(Dorman) Rhoades of
Eureka, IL; one son, Robert Dziak of Black River Falls, WI; four
grandchildren, Cynthia (Brian) Weisser of Mahomet; Jenelle(Phillip)
Ryan of Mackinaw; Cheryl (Jason) Davenport of Goodfield , IL;
Pamela Dziak; seven great grandchildren; eight great great
grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.

She  was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters,
three brothers, and one grandson.

Magdalene worked in a candy factory in Chicago. Later she worked
at Pyle National in Chicago until her retirement.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, March 1,
2014 at Memorial Hall at Maple Lawn Homes in Eureka. Pastor Doane
Brubaker will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March
1, 2014 from 10-11a.m.  at Memorial Hall at Maple Lawn Homes
in Eureka. Burial will be at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL.
Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling
arrangements.
