Minonk- Margaret C. McGill, 82 of Minonk passed away at 7:05 a.m.
on
Monday, November 11, 2013 at Heritage Health Care, Minonk.


Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at
Ruestman-Harris
Funeral Home, Minonk. Pastor Wes Ooms will officiate.
Burial will be
in Minonk Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from
5 to
7 p.m. at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk. Memorial
contributions
may be directed to The Community Cancer Center, Normal, IL.


Margaret was born May 30, 1931in rural Minonk in Clayton Twp. a
daughter
of Lee and Hilda Smith Bryson. She married Russell B. McGill
on
September 18, 1949 at Peoria. He died December 14, 2009.


Survivors include, a daughter, Laurel (Terry) Matter, Minonk;
two
grandsons, Corey (Rachel) Matter, Benson and Brandon Matter,
Minonk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.


Margaret volunteered at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Quilter's
Club and
was a member of the Woodford County Home Extension.


Margaret showed her compassion for others diagnosed with
multiple
myeloma by helping them with their diagnosis through The
Community
Cancer Center.
