Marjorie Haun-Conarro
August 17, 1934 — March 4, 2018
Marjorie A. Haun- Conarro, 83, died on March 4, 2018 at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria. Born in Henry on August 17, 1934 to the late Charles and Beulah Theilbar Reginald Jr., she was married to Lloyd Haun in 1955 and had four children. Later she married James Conarro on August 5, 1987 in Sparland. Jim died on January 6, 2013.
Marge was a cook in many local restaurants in the Lacon area for over 50 years. She also worked at Sears and the Lacon Seal Company.
Marge is survived by her daughter Deborah(Jon) Eaton of Metamora, sons Kevin (Aida) Haun of Ridgecrest CA, Keith (Joy) Haun of Bartonville, Kenneth (Tammy) Haun of Lacon, brothers Marvin (Sharon) Reginald of Sparland & Russell (June) Reginald of Arkansas, eight grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded by one child, one grandchild, one great grandchild, two brothers, and one sister.
As a single mom, she was the mother and father to her four children. Marge was a fighter and had a smile for anyone that came to visit till the end. She enjoyed her life and was satisfied with the smallest joys, like feeding the birds & squirrels and spoiling her sweet kitty, Peanut. The outdoors brought her much happiness as she fed the hummingbirds and planted flowers. Most of all, she loved her family and dearest friends. Her kind loving heart will be missed by all, and so will the candy dish she kept full for visitors young and old.
Cremation rights have been accorded and a private family burial will held on March 17, 2018 at the Lacon Cemetery officiated by her son. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12-4pm at Great Oaks Community Church in Germantown Hills for family and friends that same day. Memorials can be made to the ARK and online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com. Now we know she is walking on sunshine with our Lord and Savior.
