Mary Murphy

Mary Ann Murphy, 65, of Lacon passed away January 2, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Streator on August 21, 1951 to the late Franklin and Marion Calhoun Casey, she married Michael Murphy on October 11, 1969 in Lacon.

Mary Ann graduated from Mid County High School in 1969 and she served in the Marshall County Circuit Clerk's office as a Deputy Circuit Clerk for over 35 years, retiring April 2014.

She is survived by her husband Mike; two daughters Jen (Chris) Block and Laura (Tim) Divelbiss both of Huntersville, NC; sister Nina (Dan) Herridge of Lacon; and five grandchildren: Norah Richmond, Nolan and Liam Divelbiss, Ellen and Mia Block.
