Mildred Lou Vallow

Minonk-Mildred "Millie" Lou Vallow, 89, of Minonk passed away at
5:23

a.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her residence.


She was born November 12, 1924 at Kinmundy, IL a daughter of
George

Frank and Lou Robb Jones. She
married Joe G. Vallow on May 18, 1943 at

Kinmundy. He died June 25,
1998.


Survivors include her 2 sons, Paul Vallow of Minonk, and Joe A.
(Karen)

Vallow, Poplar Bluff, MO; 1 daughter, Lou Ann (Robert) Lindquist;
1

brother, Frank (Eunice) Jones, Elmhurst; 2 granddaughters,
Sarah

(Russell) Cleaver and Rachel (Michael) Stevens; and 4 great
grandchildren,

Daniel and Joanna Cleaver and Mitchell and Rebecca Stevens.


She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harold and James; and
3

sisters, Dorthea Jones, Julia Uhle, and Lora Ingram.


Mildred was a member of the Minonk United Methodist Church. She
and her

husband, Joe, owned and operated Vallow Studio and Photography
in

Minonk for 40 years.


Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday , December 18,
2013

at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk. Rev. Angel Taylor
will

officiate. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services
on

Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Minonk
Twp.
