Neva Stanfield

Neva J. Stanfield, 98, of Wesley Chapel Florida, formerly Sparland died on February 22 at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida. Born in Lacon on May 3, 1918 to the late Warren and Nellie Jacobs Jones, she married Earl Stanfield on October 8, 1938 in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Earl died on July 31, 1993.

Neva is survived by: her son Robert (Janet) Stanfield of Wesley Chapel, FL; daughters Jackie (Kenneth) Kuykendall of Washington, Illinois; Nancy Pettit of Prescott, Iowa; grandchildren Mark Peugh, Diane Lowry, Jaye & Scott Stanfield, Steve Pettit & Angela Ray; six great-grandchildren; and her dog Mali. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Susanne Pettit Semo.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at 10 o'clock at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in the Lacon Cemetery and memorials can be made to Gulfside Hospice. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
