Randy Downs

Randy M. Downs, 59, of Spring Bay died at 9:02 pm on October 15, 2014 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. Born in Peoria on July 24, 1955 to Richard and the late Judith Turl Downs, he graduated from Metamora Twp. High School. Randy joined the Army and served overseas in Germany.
After the Army, he joined the family printing business where he owned and operated Any Color Inc. with his father in East Peoria. He was a great bowler, avid golfer, and always up for a card game with his sons and father. Randy also loved to spend time with and spoil his grandchildren.
He is survived by: his father Richard; children Andrew "Andy" (Kiesha) of Virginia Beach, VA; Aaron of Peoria; Megan of Chillicothe; brother Richard Downs of Pekin; sisters Kim (Mike) Todd of East Peoria; Christie Doerr of Germantown Hills; and grandchildren Alexia, Yasmin, Andrew Jr. "A.J.", & Zaniyah.
He was preceded in death by his mother Judy and sister Kelly Mount.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lacon Country Club on Wednesday, October 22 from 5 pm on. Memorials can be made to the family and left at the Club. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com.
