Rex Bowling

Rex E. Bowling, 61, of Lacon, died on November 20, 2019 at his home. Born on April 14, 1958 to the late Richard and Dorothy Danning Bowling, he was a graduate of Henry High School and a life-long Riverman.
Rex was a deckhand on the Illinois River for ACBL Marine and Osage Marine for over 30 years. He loved going to his property in Missouri and camping with his dog there. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved life.
Rex is survived by his dog Katie and stepdaughter Roberta Joe Bird of Revere MO; good friends Kim Lacock of Lacon and Dave Hart of Bureau Junction.
Cremation rights have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Rex has requested that his friend Dave & dog Katie take him to his property in Missouri. Memorials can be made to the ARK and online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
