Richard L. "Rick" DeLay, 46, of Minonk died on February 9, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Pekin on August 19, 1969 to Richard and Celia Arms DeLay, he married Amy Zilm in Washburn on May 13, 2006.
Rick was a Safety Specialist at CNH Industrial in Goodfield for over 5 years.
Surviving are his wife Amy, mother Celia DeLay of Manito, sisters Teresa (Jack) Laney of Toluca and Tonya DeLay of Manito, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father and grandparents.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held on February 13, 2016 at Ruestman- Harris Funeral Home in Minonk at 11 am with a visitation being held one hour prior to service. Wesley Ooms will officiate and burial will be in Linn Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Washburn.
Memorials can be made to Red Cross Blood Services, Aplastic Anemia Foundation, or St. Jude Midwest Affiliate. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com. Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon is in charge of arrangements.
