Riley Burtsfield

Riley David Burtsfield, 21, Varna Ill. died on January 24, 2021 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on December 31, 1999 in Peoria to David and Renee Soeder Burtsfield.
Riley grew up in Varna and graduated from Midland High School. He loved high school wrestling, working out, bodybuilding, and like all boys video games. He was employed at SC2 in Mossville.
Riley is survived by: his mother Renee (Bill) Baum of Varna; father David (Terri) Burtsfield of Varna; Grandfather Jack Burtsfield of Washburn; grandmother Roberta "Bertie" Soeder of Varna; sisters Emily (Zach Mekley) Burtsfield of Varna, Haley (Brad Jefford) Burtsfield of Lacon, Breanna (Daniel Hale) Turley of Mackinaw; nephews Brantley, Ryan, Cale, Carter, Cayson; and his dog Gracie. Riley was preceded in death by his grandmother Cheryl Burtsfield, grandfather Jon Vitale, step-grandfather Wayne Soeder, uncle Johnny Vitale, and aunt Jessica Burtsfield.
Visitation for Riley will be held at Lenz Memorial Home on Friday, January 29 from 4 to 7 PM with funeral services on Saturday, January 30 at 10 AM also at Lenz. Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery #2. Memorials can be made to the family and online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
