Robert "Bob" Johnson

Bloomington- Robert Dale "Bob"
Johnson, 83, a seven-year resident of Bullhead City, Arizona,
formerly of Bloomington, passed way on May 23, 2013 in
Bullhead City, Arizona.  A memorial service will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Illinois Wesleyan Universities Evelyn
Chapel, Bloomington with Rev. Michael E. Karunas officiating. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bob's name to Shriners
Hospital for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL

Bob was born December 16, 1929, in
Bloomington. He married Joanne Morey Berenz on October 11, 1961.
She preceded him death.

He is survived by three sons,
Robert (Valery) Johnson of Warrensberg, Mo; Dean Berenz, San Diego,
Calif; Henry (Julie) Berenz of Sycamore; six daughters, Leighia
(Greg) Cleary of Macon; Peggy Johnson of Erie, Colo; Karyn (Michael
Sr.) Hasselbring of Bloomington; Karol (Patt) Johnson of Brighton,
Colo; Margery (John) Clark of Pinetop, Ariz; Elizabeth (Don) Gohl
of Lincoln; twin sister, Betty Moore of Sacramento, Calif; numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loving companion, Tine

Bob attended Illinois Wesleyan
University, Bloomington where he was a member of the T.K.E.
Fraternity House.

He was the owner of Bob Johnson's
Restaurant for 35 years and business partner of Dennison Ford

He was a member of the Bloomington
Lodge 43, Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies, Mohammed Temple
Shrine, Past Potentate in 1983, Royal Order of Jesters and
Bloomington Elk's Lodge.

Bob enjoyed  his retirement
years Rving and traveling. He was generous and loving, had a great
sense of humor and was a friend to all.

He was happiest entertaining
friends and family and will be missed by many people whose lives he
