Robert Rinaldo

Robert H. Rinaldo, 87, of Varna, died at 11:00 pm June 9, 2014 at Heartland Healthcare in Henry. Born October 20, 1926 in Rutland to the late Michael and Adeline Cresto Rinaldo, he served in the Army during the occupation of Austria at the end of WWII. He then married Lovila Jane Sojka in 1956 in Lacon. She survives.
Also surviving are his sons: Robert (So Seek) of Glendale, CA; David of Chillicothe, Raymond (Tammie) of Staunton, VA; and Daryl (Jennifer) of Varna; his brother Frank Rinaldo of Varna; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and brothers Joe, Mike, Albert, Ed, John, and Donny.
Services will be held at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon on Friday, June 13 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior to services and 5-7pm on Thursday. Reverend Elaine Bolen will officiate. Burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery. Memorials can be made to American Legion Post #254 or Varna Ambulance. Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com
