Roger York

Lacon- Roger York of Lacon, Illinois died on August 16,
2013 at 4:20 PM at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on December 4, 1947 in Spring Valley to Kendall and
Martha Boers York. He joined the Marines and served his country in
Vietnam. Roger married Beverly Long on May 10, 1969.  She
preceded him in death on April 3, 2010.


Roger is survived by daughters Cindy (Garry) Hayes,
Tina York; Keilani (Herb) Zilm all of Iowa;  and Tonya (Jeff)
Miller of Wyoming, IL; his son Steven of Lacon; brother Gerald York
and a sister Linda Rubia.



Graveside and Military services will be held on Thursday,
August 22 at 3:30 PM at the Lacon Cemetery. Cremation rites have
