Russell B. Reginald, "NS9H", 79, of Norfork Arkansas and Sparland IL, died on January 6, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Springfield MO. Born on June 20, 1940 in Lacon to the late Henry and Beulah (Thielbar) Reginald, he married June Hauch on April 4, 1964 in Sparland.
Russell worked for Caterpillar Inc for 35 years starting as a slagger and ending with a job in quality assurance. He graduated from the Caterpillar Machinist Apprentice Program. Russell enjoyed spending time with his family while camping, boating and woodworking. He was an avid amateur radio operator holding an extra class license and was a member of the Woodford County Repeater Association.
Russell is survived by his wife June; son Steve (Debbie) Reginald of Chillicothe; daughter Hilary Reginald of Sparland; brother Marvin Reginald of Sparland; grandchildren Joshua, Adam, Nathaniel, Kalie, & Noah Reginald. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and his granddaughter Jamie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service, Keith Haun Officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be in the Lacon cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made to the A.R.K. in Lacon and Online condolences may be shared at lenzmemorialhome.com
