Sandra Boers

Sandra June Boers, 75, of Sparland passed away at St. Joseph's Nursing Home on March 19, 2017. Born in Lincoln, Illinois on December 29, 1941 to the late Harry and Marcella (Harman) Pollock, she married Everett Gail Boers on February 6, 1960 in Lacon. He died November 25, 2001.

Sandy was the custodian at the First National Bank in Chillicothe for over 10 years.

Sandy is survived by: her daughter Rosezona (Brian) Long of Petersburg, Illinois; son Ronold "2 Bolt" Boers of Sparland; step brother Jack Dawson of Utah; grandchildren Ashlee Boers and Todd Boers of Kewanee, Robert Long of Canton, Jennifer Johnson of Galva, & Tiffany (Andrew) Brown of Kankakee and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son Raymond.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 22 at 11 AM at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon with Reverend Gary Miller officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services with burial in the Yankee Cemetery in rural Sparland.
