SHIRLEY GERBER


Roanoke - Shirley E. Gerber, 58, of Roanoke, IL, passed away at
4:35 pm on Saturday January 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving
family at home.


She was born on January 18, 1956 in Peoria, IL to Lyle E. and
Barbara E. Nohl Moser.  She married Rick L. Geber on November
7, 1976 in Roanoke.  He survives.


Also surviving is one son, Byron (Jenean) Gerber of Roanoke; one
daughter, Brandi Gerber of Eureka; her parents Lyle and Barb Moser
of Roanoke; two brothers, Greg (Sharlene) Moser of Roanoke; Todd
(Kathy) Moser of Roanoke; two sisters, Gladys (Tom) Carr of Secor;
and Sue Garber of Roanoke.


She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Moser, and Leslie
Moser; one grandson,

Micah Gerber; and one daughter-in-law, Lisa Gerber.


Shirley was a medical transcriptionist and had worked for the
Advocate BroMenn Group / Town and Country Health Care for
approximately 24 years.


Shirley cherished the time spent with family and friends, and
especially enjoyed traveling and camping with them over the
years.


She was a member of the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church where
funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday January 29,
2014.  Church Ministers will officiate.  Visitation will
be held from 4-8 pm on Tuesday at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home
in Roanoke and from 9-9:45 am on Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.


Memorial contributions may be made to Roanoke Apostolic Christian
Home or to Woodford County Relay for Life. Online condolences may
