Bloomington - Susan May Anderson,
60, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:08 p.m. on Wednesday,
December 25, 2013 at Asta Care Center in Bloomington.
Susan was born on April 18, 1953 in
Jacksonville, a daughter to Marvin F. and Marjorie Colwell
Weber. She married Michael Anderson, he survives.
Survivors include, her mother,
Marjorie of Jacksonville; two sons, Todd Anderson of St. Louis, MO,
Jay Anderson of Bloomington and one brother, James (Lynne) Weber of
Austin, TX.
She was preceded in death by her
father.
Susan attended grade school at
Salem Lutheran and graduated from Jacksonville High School in
1971. She attended Illinois State University and Lincoln
College. She was employed at Illinois Children and
Family Services and Owens Nursery both in Bloomington.
She was a member of Trinity
Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
Her funeral service will be held at
10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church
in Bloomington with Pastor Thomas Wirsing officiating. A
visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2013
at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington and one hour
prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Interment will be at Diamond Grove
Cemetery in Jacksonville. Memorials may be directed to the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
She was a selfless, strong, loving
mother and will be greatly missed.
