Thelma Moreland




Eureka-Thelma "Maxine" Moreland, 90, of Eureka passed away at
8:15p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her residence.She was
born on February 16, 1923 in Washington, IL a daughter of Levi H.
and Esther Blain Reeser. She married Ronald L. Moreland on June 28,
1941 in Joplin, Missouri. He passed away on April 7, 1990.




Surviving are four daughters, Suzanne(Gary) Hawbecker of Normal,
IL; Teresa(Chuck) Germann of Eureka, IL; Rhonda(Richard) Shields of
Eureka, IL; Kathy Moreland of Washington, IL; 10 grandchildren; 23
great-grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister,
Lois Lauderback of Washington, IL; sister-in-law, Dorothy Moreland
of Albuquerque, New Mexico.




She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Eddie
Moreland, three brothers and one sister.




She worked for 10 years at the Apostolic Christian Restmor in
Morton later she worked at General Electric in Bloomington for 15
years retiring in 1985.




Thelma was of the Baptist faith.




Graveside services will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, December
31, 2013 at  Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL.
Pastor  Danny McCubbins will officiate. There will be no
visitation. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is
assisting the family with arrangements.
